The dedicated DIY kit to extend existing footwell ambient lights into the rear seats and rear doors (handles&pockets) in Ford Focus MK4/4,5. The set is compatible with Vignale and ST models, which has originally installed the front footwell multi-color lighting system.

The presented conception works for both automatic and manual gearboxes and is compatible with hatchback, combi, and sedan versions. The plug&play installation method allows for mounting non-invasively (without quick-connects, soldering, etc.). The system works as an extension of the front footwell ambient lights. The rear footwell lamps are connected by dedicated harness wire and installed under the seats using holders printed in 3D technology. The current handles are replaced by the new original ones from Vignale (with multicolor ambient lights) and connected to footwell installation. The pocket lights are extended from the handles and installed in the door card. The wire must be pulled from the cab to the door through the rubber connector to be connected and steered from SYNC. This set perfectly complements the atmospheric interior lighting in color manageable in the SYNC system. The installation method is relatively simple and quick 

The set has everything necessary for assembly, including:

  • 2x multicolored rear footwell lamps (installed in the holders),
  • 2x multicolored rear handles (for both passenger sides)
  • 2x multicolored rear door pocket lamps (for both sides)
  • 2x the wire harness (for each side for footwells and handles),
  • nylon wire (for easy installation under the floor)
  • disassembly tool.

Can I install FLICKON sets on a manual gearbox?

"YES" it works for both automatic and manual gearboxes. However, there is only one slight difference in the first step of the installation, which is removing the central tunnel cover. There is a bit different cover construction. Still, a similar approach is acceptable to remove and reinstall it correctly.

Can I have a multicolored ambient light using FLICKON sets?

Basically, all FLICKON sets work as the plug&play extension of existing ambient light systems. So there are two answers where:

"YES" if you have a currently multicolored ambient system all MULTICOLOR FLICKON sets can work in a multicolor system.

"NO" if you have a single color ambient light (f.e. only in cups) you can extend it to all footwells but only in a single ice-blue shade.
Can I upgrade the single-color to a multicolor system by MULTICOLOR FLICKON sets?

"NO", all MULTICOLORED FLICKON sets work as the extention to the existing ambient light system. So if you have currently single-colored lights it will not work, because there is a noncompatible hardware (different harness wires, lamps, lighting control system, etc.)
